In this role you will act as first point of contact for employees and take ownership of managing each HR related query to conclusion with dedicated focus on Absenteeism.
Key responsibilities
You will join the People Advisory team in the Netherlands. Your role as a People Advisor with Absenteeism specialty will be to solve the HR-related queries, with primary focus on Absenteeism, of our employees and managers and make sure their interaction with HR results in a great experience. The primary focus is on absenteeism, if capacity allows for it, the topics under other people advisor activities can be part of the role as well.
As our Absenteeism Specialist:
- You are the dedicated point of contact for managers and HR for questions about absenteeism or expected absenteeism.
- Regularly check the status of the reintegration files and we-care data quality and, if necessary, contact the manager for follow-up actions.
- Ensure timely follow-up of the mandatory Wv P documents and have regular contact with HR about the follow-up of (long-term) absence files.
- Guide both manager and employee in following up the advice of the company doctor, (occupational health nurse), employment expert and, if necessary, in deploying track 2.
- Draw up concept Wv P documents and sends them to managers so that they can finalize the documents with the employee.
- Support with for instance WIA applications.
- Maintain portals like UWV/insurances/”Eigen risico drager”
Other People Advisor activities:
- Ensure adherence to HR procedures, practices, directives, systems and regulations applicable to the Netherlands
- Support training & change management activities, for our employees
- Provide general HR support to employees around the employee life cycle and provide guidance on HR knowledge content, such as global & local HR policies, How-To, etc.
- Prepare and handle HR documentation
- Coordinate and administer onboarding and offboarding processes
Who we are looking for
You are customer-oriented and passionate about employee experience! You have high energy and drive and efficiently manage resolution of every employee query, in particular in the field of Absenteeism. We consider both part time and full time candidates.
As for the skillset and experience, we are looking for:
- HBO working & thinking level;
- Up-to-date knowledge of Dutch social security, such as Wv P, Sickness Act, WIA, Occupational Health and Safety Act, etc.
- Experience in absenteeism management
- Dutch and English language skills in word and writing is a must
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, ability to manage conflict, and attention to detail
- Previous experience with declarations towards government / official authorities with understanding of employer liabilities
- Hands-on team player with a people-oriented attitude who is able to work in a fast-changing environment
