Job description

As Implementation Engineer, you play a crucial and diverse role that goes beyond the typical responsibilities of a service engineer. You are the creative problem-solver who ensures that our products meet the unique needs of each project and client. Your work is a blend of computer-based tasks and hands-on hardware work, focused on integrating our hardware solutions with the client’s site and tying it all to our online platform.

You will be responsible for:

• 
  Preparation & Configuration: Prepare and configure systems tailored to each client’s needs, ensuring they are ready for deployment.
• Installation & Commissioning: Install and commission systems and projects, both onsite and remotely.
• Feasibility Assessments: Perform site visits to assess project feasibility, providing critical insights that shape the project’s success.
• Testing Facilities: Build and maintain internal testing facilities, setting up and executing testing procedures to ensure our solutions meet the highest standards.
• Client Support: Provide professional (remote) support to clients and end-users, solving problems and ensuring smooth operation of our systems.
• Technical Documentation: Critically check technical drawings and documents to ensure accuracy and feasibility, supporting seamless implementation.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Support colleagues in sales, engineering, and project management, helping to develop and deliver the best possible solutions for our customers.
• Software Development Support: Proactively support our software development teams, providing feedback from the field to enhance our products.

Qualifications

Who are you?
Honestly, we don't even need to spell out this role for you. You live it and breathe it. To thrive in this team, it's important to be adaptable, collaborative, and eager to innovate, always bringing creative solutions to complex challenges.
Additionally, you:

• Are a resident of The Netherlands and have a permanent work permit (we do not sponsor visas nor relocations).
• Have a Bachelor or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Have at least 3 years of hands-on experience with hardware installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Have proven experience in working with networking (IP, switches), Linux (command line proficiency), and familiarity with Docker, Azure, or other Io T platforms.
• Can read and understand technical drawings and wiring diagrams, particularly related to e-cabinets.
• Are proficient in using Excel and other relevant software tools for system configuration and data management.
