Our client is a global name within real estate investments. Due to continued growth in the Netherlands, they are now seeking an Associate - Real Estate (Logistics) to join their dynamic team in Amsterdam.
The Associate – Real Estate (Logistics) will support the portfolio manager in optimizing asset performance, implementing ESG initiatives, and contributing to investment activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate asset management.
Key responsibilities of the Associate – Real Estate (Logistics):

Support the portfolio manager in managing and enhancing asset performance.
Champion and implement ESG priorities.
Develop and execute annual business plans and asset management strategies.
Implement capex programs and lease renewals.
Assist in crafting and presenting profitable business cases.
Conduct comprehensive research on real estate markets, including property valuations.
Coordinate external teams (property managers, leasing agents, lawyers).
Prepare and analyse periodic investor reports.
Support quarterly and annual property valuation processes.
Assist in underwriting new investment opportunities.
Present investment proposals to the Board and Investment Committee.
Monitor and communicate investment opportunities to the team.
Contribute to developing a pipeline of potential investments.

The Associate – Real Estate (Logistics) will meet the following criteria:

3-5 years of experience in real estate asset management covering the logistics sector is essential.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent).
Strong financial, analytical, and modelling skills.
Knowledge of local real estate laws.
Understanding of tenant mix and operations.
Interest in ESG investing within real estate.
