Service Mechanic / Technician Engineer

You will immerse yourself in the fast growing and rapidly evolving world of radar technology. We are looking for our new Service Mechanic. Are you ready?

In this role, you're responsible for both scheduled preventive maintenance and on-the-spot troubleshooting of our radars in diverse locations. Your role extends to advisory responsibilities in planning and designing radar installations. You actively participate in installations, managing subcontractors, and take charge of scheduling, reporting, customer interactions, and spare parts stock management.

Responsibilities:

You’re responsible for either the periodical preventive maintenance and the ad hoc corrective maintenance (troubleshooting) of our radars on location (offshore, remote, with heights, and secured);
You have an advisory role in planning, preparing, and designing our radar installations.
You are responsible of the installation of the radar, while managing sub-contractors on location;
You are also responsible for your own planning, reporting back to the team, manage details with the customer and spare parts stock.

You have 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in electromechanics;
You speak English, a basic level of Dutch would be a great advantage;
You're flexible in your working hours/days and like to travel (up to 50% of the role);
You're comfortable with working in challenging environments: requiring travel, off-shore work, and comfortable with heights;
You’re a true company representative as you have client contact yourself;
You’re a team player, but can also work independently on location;
You're assertive and not afraid to roll up your sleeves;
You live in The Netherlands within traveling distance to The Hague.

Additionally, depending on the role and its responsibilities we may request a certificate of conduct (VOG) before or during the employment period. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.
