Jetstar Engineering: A team that takes off together
We rely on our engineers to deliver our superior safety standards, up to the second. They’re the trouble-shooters, glitch-fixers and tech-experts who make sure we take to the sky safely. Helping our teammates soar is what we’re all about, and with a new fleet of state-of-the-art aircraft, plus new routes being added, the sky’s the limit.

Your new role as an AME (Aircraft Maintenance Engineer) will see you deliver quality and reliable maintenance and rectification services to a high standard, while ensuring all WHS and Quality policies and procedures are adhered to. This role will see you working with a range of specialist teams enabling you to provide excellent engineering standards on a solid foundation of safety, quality, reliability, and service.

We’re on the hunt for someone who:
- Has completed Certificate IV in Aeroskills (AU or NZ equivalent), with previous A320/321 experience desirable
- Has excellent time management skills and a proven ability to effectively manage self and others
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Has experience in Line Maintenance
- Has a proven commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement initiatives
- Has proven problem-solving skills and the ability to handle competing demands, particularly when under pressure and/or managing multiple stakeholders; and
- Holds a valid driving licence and ability to obtain an Airside Drivers Licence
- Ability to work nightshift and weekend shifts (24/7)
