We’re currently seeking an experienced Bakery Assistant Manager to join the team. As a department leader, you’ll play an integral part in our journey towards a successful store opening and continuously deliver an exceptional shopping experience for our community.

The Role
- Work alongside the Bakery Manager to ensure the department runs smoothly and that all targets are met or exceeded.
- Assist with the planning and coordination of all facets of day-to-day operations within the department.
- Maintain Food and Health & Safety standards, store policies and procedures.
- Ensure staff are well trained to provide the best shopping experience for our customers.
- Assist with food preparations and baking goods.

What we’re looking for:
- A qualified Baker or previous experience within a cafe/bakery environment is advantageous.
- A passion for food including baking specialty breads and sweet treats.
- Customer-driven.
- A good eye for quality and presentation.
- Able to strictly follow our Food Safety and Health and Safety program.
- Great people skills and ability to lead, train and inspire a small team.
- Reliable, self-motivated and be a good team player.
