We pride ourselves on delivering excellence in transportation services: 98% of all our freight is handled by a Big Chill vehicle, from collection to delivery.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Class 2 Driver based out of our Hastings hub to join our team. Ideally you will have at least 6 months' experience driving Class 2 as well as experience in temperature-controlled transport, as you will be working with chilled and frozen goods. You will also bring to our team excellent communication and customer service skills, as you'll be the face of Big Chill out on the roads.

This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 6:00pm, with rostered Saturdays.

Key responsibilities include

Delivery and pick up of chilled and frozen products across the Hawkes Bay region
Providing assistance to the Stores team to present product for loading/unloading
Collaborating with dispatchers to ensure timely deliveries
Compliance in delivery times and temperature control of customer goods

About You

Qualified Class 2 driver with at least 6 months' experience
Experience working in frozen/temperature-controlled environments
Demonstrable organisational and time management abilities
Committed to delivering exceptional customer service at all times
