Job Description
He aha te tūranga - About the role:
Clinical Support Officers with an Education Development portfolio contribute to the development of high quality, clinically excellent curriculum for ambulance personnel. This includes face to face curriculum development, online learning (for example, case studies, interactive learning, quizzes, and more on On Demand), and curriculum maintenance.
Essential to this role is the ability to work autonomously on projects with remote support from your line manager while being open to collaboration with a team spread across the motu.
This is a full-time position with a negotiable location for the right candidate. Secondments will be considered.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current Authority to Practice and have experience in Field operations
- A Certificate in Adult Teaching and NZQA 4098 (preferred).
- To be willing to travel for the role as required.
- A strong self-reflective skillset & excellent attention to detail.
- Proven clinical knowledge and strong written skills.
- The ability to work independently with initiative and drive.
- Well-developed communication and people skills.
- A good understanding of the MS Office suite.
- Have the ability to complete work autonomously.
- Have a keen interest to learn and improve your own clinical practice through exposure to a wide range of clinical initiatives.

Our benefits include but not limited to:
- Competitive salary. Entry rate for qualified Paramedics is $84,169 ($38.54 gross hourly rate). Increasing to $92,887 after 4 years' service. Further information on other qualifications can be discussed on enquiry.
- Clinical Support Officers will receive an allowance in addition to base Paramedic rate.
- Penal rates will be paid for unsocial hours (nights and weekends)
- Our service covers 24 hours a day, seven days a week. As a Clinical Support Officer your shifts will be rostered on to work 42 hours over a Monday to Sunday roster, delivering clinical support and other clinical deliverable's such as education.
