They measure, fabricate, and install beautiful granite, marble, stone, engineered stone, and porcelain for kitchens, bathrooms, fire hearths, reception counters, and a host of commercial

spaces. They supply to the commercial business market, building companies, architects, designers, contractors, and kitchen cabinet makers throughout New Zealand and sell directly to the homeowner. Pacific Stone pays well for skilled technicians and offers plenty of opportunities for overtime.

ABOUT THE ROLE: The position of CNC Machine Operator is a critical part of the operation at Pacific Stone. You will be operating Donatoni Saws and ideally have experience with CNC Profiling Machines and working with stone slabs for kitchen benchtops.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

• Set up, maintain, and operate Bridge Saws and CNC routers
• CAD editing for CNC
• Overhead gantry operation
• Interpret shop drawings and technical specs
• Fabricating stone with a grinder/granite bridge saw
• Measure dimensions and areas
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
• Assure the quality of each part meets specifications
• Load and run programs through database
• Health and Safety conscious with an eye for detail and quality workmanship
• An effective team player, who can follow instructions, prioritize workload, and is highly motivated to achieve output deadlines.
