Our services are designed to meet the unique needs of property managers, streamlining the management process and improving efficiency.
Responsibilities:
The Employee will carry out the following responsibilities during their employment:
  • Study and further comprehend the specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layouts and determine the dimensions and materials required.
  • Follow established safety rules and regulations and always maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Building and construction materials preparation.
  • Clean and prepare construction sites for various tasks.
  • Prepare plumbing and draining system for installation.
  • Prepare formwork for foundations and concrete pours.
  • Erect and construct frameworks and walls.
  • Install cladding and trusses.
  • Repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, and other wooden fixtures used in the building.
  • Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures
  • Work on top of stilts, ladders, scaffolding, or top beams of buildings, as required.
Ideal Candidate Should Have:
  • Have at least 1 year of relevant work experience in the construction industry - The candidate must have prior experience in renovation and property maintenance and experience on commercial construction sites
  • Familiarity with power tools and construction site machinery
  • Have basic reading skills related to the current New Zealand Construction Standards.
  • Willing to undergo Drug and Alcohol Screening and provide a police clearance if requested
  • A solid understanding of New Zealand’s plumbing and electrical systems will be considered as an advantage
  • A basic skill in plastering and joinery will be considered a plus
  • A good attitude and reliability
  • Hardworking and enthusiastic about the role
  • Be able to work as part of a team
  • Attention to details
  • Be physically able to stand for long periods and heavy lifting required
