• This role offers great variety. You will work with a number of specialists both internally and externally and have the ability to maintain excellent working relationships.
• This is a job where no two days are ever the same; you will see the full spectrum of psychiatry from enduring mental illness through to trauma, grief and distress
• You will work with supportive and caring colleagues within a close-knit team

• Provide quality clinical services to tāngata whaiora/people seeking wellness and their family/whānau within Te Whatu Ora Waikato boundaries
• As a clinical expert, you will ensure that the appropriate and current knowledge, skills, and attitudes in the area of psychiatry, are applied to clinical situations and team decision making
• Participate in clinical partnership to ensure that tāngata whaiora and their whānau receive integrated, appropriate, effective, and efficient assessment and care

• A Psychiatrist who is vocationally registered or eligible for vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
• A versatile and flexible clinician who has a passion for working as part of a team
• A person who is excited about and willing to contribute participate in service enhancement
• A clinician who is passionate about eliminating health inequities
