At Counties Manukau District, we are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients. We are currently seeking a dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our dynamic team of skilled nurses in our General Surgical Ward. Role Overview:
As a Health Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering both clinical and non-clinical care. You’ll assist our Registered Nurses with daily tasks, contributing to our mission of providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide compassionate care and support to patients.
Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Maintain excellent organization and prioritization in your tasks.
Foster positive relationships with patients and their families.

Essential Qualifications:

Health Care Assistant Level 4 Certificate or equivalent.
At least 1 year of experience in a hospital environment.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Proficiency in verbal and written English.
