CARTERS is a leading supplier of building and construction materials to the trade sector. As a HIAB driver/Yardperson no day is ever the same. This fast-paced and physical role will see you delivering building materials to a variety of residential and commercial construction sites across Auckland from our Pukekohe branch where you will be based.
Your focus will be on providing an exceptional service and delivery to our valued customers in a timely, professional and safe manner.
Your adaptability and versatility will be key as you will also be required to provide support when needed in the timber yard including operating a forklift to load and unload customer orders.
About you
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience however we will consider a Class 4 driver who can be trained to operate a HIAB.

• Full, Clean NZ Drivers Licence and Class 4/5
• Current HIAB Certification with solid HIAB driving experience is desirable but not essential
• A team player with the right attitude.
• A real people person with a natural talent for building trust and rapport with our customers.
• Proven awareness of health and safety legislation in this industry.
• Physically fit for the occasional heavy lifting and manual handling
