This is a full time permanent positions for 1 x Hotel Manager for the The Darfield Hotel located at 37 South Terrace, Darfield 7510-Canterbury , minimum 30 hours per week , pay $30 to $32 per hour depending on experience
JOB Description Includes:

• directing and overseeing reservation, reception, room service and housekeeping activities
• supervising security arrangements, and garden and property maintenance
• planning and supervising bar, restaurant, function and conference activities
• observing liquor, gaming, and other laws and regulations
• assessing and reviewing customer satisfaction
• overseeing accounting and purchasing activities
• ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
• may provide guests with local tourism information, and arrange tours and transportation

Candidate requirements;
· 3 years of work experience or a relevant level 4 or 5 qualification or higher
· Flexibility to work within a 7 days a week operation including split shifts -willing to work or weekends
· .Be able to work and manage a team
· .Have good interpersonal and communication skills
· .Have a. can -do attitude and good work ethic
· .Must be either a New Zealand citizenship /resident or hold a valid new Zealand work visa
