Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our kitchen team in the role of Kitchen Hand. As a Kitchen Hand, you will play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen operations and maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
This role is part-time covering the morning shift starting between 7am or 8am to Mid-day, with an hourly wage of $25.09.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in basic food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen team.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in kitchen areas, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
Ensure timely removal of waste and recycling, keeping disposal areas organized.
Support kitchen staff in various tasks, contributing to the overall efficiency of the kitchen.
Follow established health and safety guidelines in all aspects of the role.
Assist with the organization and storage of kitchen supplies

Qualifications

Ability to work a flexible roster including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Motivated and driven.
Strong organisational skills.
Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand is advantageous but not essential.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Willingness to follow instructions and learn new tasks.
Availability for the specified fixed-term duration.
Must be a New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid work visa/permit.(immigration visa support or sponsorship is not available with this role)
