Manha Hotel Auckland Airport is seeking a permanent part-time, reliable, and guest-focused Night Receptionist to join our team. The Night Receptionist will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests during the night shift from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM on Saturday and Sunday. In addition to handling various guest requests and inquiries efficiently, the Night Receptionist will also be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and the hotel during the overnight hours. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a friendly, welcoming demeanour.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner upon arrival
- Check-in and check-out guests, ensuring all relevant information is accurately recorded
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously
- Process reservations and cancellations according to hotel policies
- Maintain a clean and tidy reception area
- Monitor and respond to guest requests during the night
- Assist with security procedures and ensure the safety of guests and the property
- Perform night audit duties, including reconciling daily transactions and preparing reports
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the Front Office Manager
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work night shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of hotel operations and reservation systems is an asset
- Must be legally eligible to work in New Zealand
