Nurse Leader - Mental Health and Addiction Service

The Nurse Leader role is responsible for:
- Providing advanced professional leadership and management to the nursing workforce in Mental Health and Addiction Services across the Bay of Plenty district
- Leading the delivery of Toi Ora Systems of Care and contributing to improving health outcomes for Māori
- Progressing workforce development initiatives
- Working in partnership with the Business Leader, Clinical Director and Chief Nursing Officer - Toi Ora to lead and support clinical excellence through evidence-based nursing practice
- Leading and promoting continuous quality improvement

To be successful in this role you will need:
- A relevant Masters qualification
- Significant experience in Māori health delivery, implementation of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
- Significant experience in a Nursing leadership
- Significant Mental Health experience
- You will need personal resilience in this time of system wide change
- You will require strong negotiating skills to engage collaboratively with internal and external partners across the sector.
