Office Manager

Our company is looking for an organised and self-motivated Office Manager who will be responsible to provide administrative support. The Office Manager’s role will include working closely with our leadership team by handling clerical duties, coordinating calendars, and organizing meetings.
In order to be successful in this position you should be detail-oriented, professional and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Your responsibilities include:
 Provide administrative support for project proposals, client communications,
and government submission processes, ensuring documentation and
approvals are completed on time.
 Undertake office budgets, including expenses related to project resources,
ensuring financial discipline and alignment with company goals for growth and
profitability.
 Contribute to the planning and review of office services, setting priorities and
service standards in alignment with the company’s objectives, ensuring
efficient support for design, renovation, and government approval projects.
 Manage the allocation of office resources, including human resources, space,
and equipment, to support various departments (accounting, design,
compliance, project management and marketing) and maximize operational
efficiency.
 Oversee administrative staff, assign tasks, monitor performance, provide
guidance, and ensure staff meet performance expectations, with a focus on
supporting construction project timelines and quality standards.
 Maintain accurate office records and financial accounts, ensuring timely
documentation and compliance with internal policies and external regulations
related to construction and commercial property projects.
 Coordinate with architects, engineers, stakeholders, and external contractors
to streamline project approvals and resolve any issues impacting project
timelines or regulatory compliance.
 Ensure office equipment is well-maintained, and supplies are stocked to
support ongoing operations, including project documentation, client meetings,
and government approval processes.
 Ensure the office environment complies with occupational health and safety
standards.
 Oversee office activities to ensure adherence to relevant government
legislation, construction industry policies, and company procedures,
particularly for project approvals and building codes.
 Coordinate HR activities, including hiring, promotions, performance
management, payroll, and training, ensuring personnel policies are correctly
implemented to support both office staff and field teams.
The suitable applicant must have:
· Hold a relevant diploma or tertiary qualification or equivalent
· Hold a relevant visa status
· Proven history of successful output and in meeting deadlines
· Proficient in a variety of computer software applications including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
· Comfortable handling confidential information.
· Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong computer skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $58,000.00 – $68,000.00 per year
Benefits:
