About THE POSITION:
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Tauranga with the ability to travel to other Finesse locations such as Wanganui, New Plymouth, Wellington and Napier and Gisborne.
This is a painters position, with plastering obligations

About YOU:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Painter / Plasterer who is able to operate both autonomously and within a team (as required) across multiple concurrent sites in both commercial/construction and residential/new build situations.
Finesse has a wide and diverse customer base with significant clients throughout and as such we require someone who is able to deliver reliably and dependably no matter the client and scope of the project.

Brief JOB DESCRIPTION:Painter (with plastering obligations):

• Be able to erect scaffolding and ladders, and placing and securing drop sheets in and around the work area.
• Preparing all work surfaces for finishing work by stripping old paint and wallpaper away, fixing up any damaged woodwork, walls and floors by filling or plastering holes and cracks and sealing surfaces.

• Ensure all work surfaces are smooth and level.
• Be able to take full instruction on the work at hand.
• Checking the worksheets and instructions before selecting and preparing paints for the job.
• Applying paints, varnishes and stains and other required products to the work surfaces using brushes, rollers

and sprayers.

• Ensuring all equipment and work areas are left clean.
