Tasks include:
- Delegating tasks to workers.
- Creating and monitoring schedules for each worker.
- Ensuring that work sites are clear of any hazardous materials prior to the commencement of projects.
- Conducting team meetings with workers and outlining how tasks are to be carried out.
- Managing budgets and tracking costs.
- Coordinating workers throughout projects.
- Ensuring that all materials, supplies, tools, and equipment are procured in a time-efficient manner.
- Monitoring daily procedures to ensure that proper quality is maintained.
- Handling onsite incidents and emergencies in a proactive manner.
- Creating and maintaining positive working relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Ensuring periodic maintenance and proper storage of construction equipment and tools.
- Complying with Work, Health, and Safety regulations.
Job Salary : $33.00 - $34.00
Working place: Auckland
Working hour per week: 30 - 50
Job pre-requisites:
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience with verified evidence, preferably gained in New Zealand.
- A relevant bachelor's degree or higher qualification in management, construction management, quantity surveying, or other related fields is preferable but not essential.
- Good work attitude and good communication skills
- Strong motivation
- Quality workmanship and eye for detail
- Strong dedication to health and workplace safety
