Technician - Casual
CONTRACT

This casual position is to assist with field and lab-based research experiments by collecting and processing biological samples, as directed by supervising researchers. The role supports a range of research projects, often working outdoors, both in a team and solo, sometimes outside of regular office hours.
You will be employed on a casual employment agreement, which means that there will be no guaranteed hours of work, no pattern of work, and no expectation of ongoing employment. As a casual employee you will be offered work ‘as and when required’.
You will learn about environmental science through doing – if this sounds like you, then we look forward to hearing from you!
- You will have experience with research experiments, especially collecting and processing biological samples.
- A qualification or relevant experience in the agricultural sector, with knowledge of the local region.
