Contract: Permanent, 0.9 FTE (72 hours per fortnight), 1 position available

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our theatre team. This is a permanent, 0.9 FTE position, working across a rotating roster. You will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care during surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for both patients and staff. About you:
We are looking for a motivated and adaptable Registered Nurse who is ready to contribute to a fast-paced, high-performing team. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A New Zealand Registered Nurse qualification with a current Annual Practising Certificate.
  • Experience in all nursing roles within the operating theatre.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care, safety, and infection control.
  • Flexibility to work rostered rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth (mandatory)
  • Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings. (mandatory)
