Job Description:
As part of our rapidly expanding finance team, the Finance Analyst will play a crucial role in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of our financial and portfolio operations. This role involves business-specific analysis, fund accounting, and troubleshooting through reconciliations, bridging the gap between the finance and portfolio teams. The Finance Analyst will also ensure that our financial records are accurately reported to regulators and that our relationships with stakeholders, including vendors and bankers, are effectively managed.

Compensation:
The starting salary for this role ranges between ₦450,000 – ₦650,000 monthly net.

Job Description:
As part of our rapidly expanding finance team, the Finance Analyst will play a crucial role in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of our financial and portfolio operations. This role involves business-specific analysis, fund accounting, and troubleshooting through reconciliations, bridging the gap between the finance and portfolio teams. The Finance Analyst will also ensure that our financial records are accurately reported to regulators and that our relationships with stakeholders, including vendors and bankers, are effectively managed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis & Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial data in accordance with IFRS and regulatory standards. Assist in preparing reports to aid decision-making within the finance and portfolio management teams.
- Financial Operations: Support day-to-day financial operations, including reconciliations, general accounting, payments processing, and correspondence management.
- Process Improvement: Assist in the development and enhancement of systems that support more efficient operations. Contribute to the execution of existing financial processes.
- Regulatory Support: Provide assistance in managing regulatory activities and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Our Expectations:
- A self-starter with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent numeracy and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in tools like Power Point, Keynote, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or similar software.
- Strong communication and writing skills.
Requirements:
- A good first degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or related fields from a reputable institution.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with fund accounting is a plus.
- Must have passed at least the Skills level of the ICAN/ACCA professional exams. CFA certification is an added advantage.
