Job Summary
Our client is a leading B2B travel consolidator company in Africa, providing comprehensive travel solutions to travel agencies and freelancer travel agents. They specialize in offering competitive fares, seamless booking processes, hotel bookings, holiday packages, visa services, travel insurance, and exceptional customer service, making them the preferred partner for travel businesses across the continent. The Sales Head - Nigeria will be responsible for leading and driving the sales strategy in Nigeria, focusing on expanding market share, achieving revenue targets, and building strong relationships with key travel agencies and partners. This role requires a dynamic leader with in-depth knowledge of the travel industry, a proven track record in sales leadership, and the ability to manage a high-performing sales team.- Minimum Qualification : Degree

Job Description/Requirements
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for Nigeria in alignment with the company’s overall business objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities, including market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and profitability metrics set by the company.
Market Development:
- Expand the company’s market presence by identifying and engaging new clients in the travel sector.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key B2B clients, including travel agencies, tour operators, and corporate clients.
- Monitor market trends and provide insights to the management team for strategic decision-making.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team to ensure that they meet or exceed sales targets.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the sales team.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Act as the primary point of contact for top-tier clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Develop strategies to enhance customer loyalty and retention.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing regular reports to the Reporting Manager.
- Utilize CRM tools and data analytics to track sales performance, customer engagement, and market trends.
- Make data-driven decisions to optimize sales processes and improve overall efficiency.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with the regional sales team, marketing, operations, and other departments to align sales efforts with broader company objectives.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and establish new business connections.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the travel industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong understanding of the B2B travel industry, including knowledge of travel agencies, non-air products, and wholesale travel distribution.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software, G-Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite is desirable.
