Job Summary: The Junior Biomedical Engineer - Medical Equipment Planner will assist in the planning, design, and implementation of medical equipment in healthcare facilities. This role involves collaborating with senior engineers, architects, and healthcare professionals to ensure that medical equipment is appropriately selected, integrated, and maintained to meet the facility's operational needs and regulatory standards.


Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the evaluation, selection, and planning of medical equipment for new healthcare facilities or renovation projects.
• Support the development of equipment lists, room layouts, and placement within the facility.
• Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including equipment manuals, maintenance schedules, and safety protocols.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in biomedical engineering and medical equipment technology.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
• Entry-level experience in medical equipment planning or a relevant internship is preferred.
• Strong understanding of medical equipment technology and healthcare facility requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards and safety protocols in healthcare.
• Proficiency in relevant software tools, such as Auto CAD, MS Office, or other planning and design software.
