Job Summary
Exquisite Escape is seeking an experienced and dynamic Travel Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex travel arrangements, providing exceptional customer service, and a deep knowledge of global travel systems. You will be responsible for booking flights, accommodations, and other travel-related services, ensuring all clients receive top-tier service tailored to their unique needs.


Key Responsibilities

• Comprehensive Travel Arrangements: Book and manage air, car, and hotel reservations for individual and group travel, adhering to company policies and client preferences.
• Efficient Travel Solutions: Ensure the most cost-effective and efficient travel routes and connections for clients, maximizing both convenience and savings.
• Exceptional Customer Service: Provide prompt, accurate, and professional communication to clients, resolving any travel-related issues swiftly and effectively.
• Detail-Oriented Management: Take full ownership of each travel booking, from initial inquiry to post-travel follow-up, ensuring all details (including seat assignments, meal preferences, and upgrades) are meticulously handled.
• Industry Knowledge: Stay current with global travel trends, airline policies, and ticketing regulations, applying this knowledge to deliver optimal travel solutions.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all travel transactions, preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow travel consultants and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery across the board.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their loyalty and satisfaction with every interaction.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a corporate travel consultant role, with a strong focus on international travel.
• System Proficiency: Extensive experience with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Sabre, Amadeus, or Galileo.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in all aspects of ticketing, including issuing, reissuing, and voiding tickets, as well as handling group travel and conference arrangements.
• Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to manage complex travel itineraries with precision and accuracy.
• Customer-Centric: Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate and resolve travel-related issues proactively and efficiently.
• Educational Background: B.Sc., HND, or OND in a relevant field. Additional certification in travel/ticketing is an added advantage.
• Adaptability: Willingness to learn new systems and processes as needed to stay ahead in the industry.
