Vi er en skole med rundt 200 elever fra grunnskolen til videregående skole. Vårt kollegium består av ca. 40 årsverk og totalt rundt 50 ansatte. Skolen ligger i vakre omgivelser på Kristianlyst, bare 4 km sør for Stavanger sentrum, og er lett tilgjengelig via tog og buss.
Vår skole har en økologisk kantine som tilbyr et utvalg mat og drikke for både elever og lærere. Den er et naturlig samlingssted i friminuttene og gir en flott mulighet for å bli kjent med elevene og kollegaene dine.
Vi har også en SFO som er åpen hver dag fra kl. 12.00 til 16.30 for elever fra 1. til 4. klasse. I nabobygget finner du Steinerbarnehagen Bukkene Bruse, der ansatte på Steinerskolen er prioritet ved inntak.
Som lærer ved vår skole vil du bli en del av et kollegium som møtes hver torsdag for å planlegge, diskutere pedagogikk og drive studie- og kunstnerisk arbeid. Pedagogisk Forum er skolens øverste pedagogiske organ med rektor som leder, og behandler alle prinsipielle pedagogiske spørsmål og tar avgjørelser i samarbeid med rektor.
Vår skole er en stiftelse ledet av et styre med medlemmer både fra foreldre og lærere. Rektor arbeider tett sammen med Pedagogisk Forum og kollegiet for øvrig, for å sikre en god organisasjon og utvikling av skolen.

EURYTMY TEACHER

The Steiner School i Stavanger (Norway) is seeking a eurythmy teacher for a 50 – 100% permanent position. The percentage depends on the candidate’s competence.
We will also consider candidates who may only be available to teach certain time periods or who may wish to organize and execute eurythmy-projects within a mutually agreed upon time period. Candidates from outside Norway are also very welcome to apply. We can help with finding suitable living quarters on request.
The Steiner School in Stavanger is a well-established school both at primary and secondary level, with 178 students and 50 employees. We offer an education based on Rudolf Steiner pedagogy, which is a recognized and increasingly popular educational direction. With our own approved curriculum, we differ significantly from other educational institutions in Norway. Our teachers focus on the student’s holistic development.
The school is located in scenic surroundings, next to the Steiner kindergarten and within a short distance to both trains and buses. The school’s cafeteria offers organic food to both students and teachers.
Stavanger is the third largest city in Norway with 130 000 residents. The town is located in a coastal landscape bordering the sea and the fjord.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency within eurythmy, preferably also proficiency within eurythmy therapy and with a tutorial education.
• Pedagogical education.
• Experience with teaching eurythmy.

Personal qualification

• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Genuin interest for students’ learning and development.
• You must enjoy working with people and contribute to a collegial community.
• Flexible attitude to a busy work day.
