Our Upstream Chemicals team oversees our technology solutions for hydrocarbon production, transportation and processing. We are the leader in oil and water separation technology and in solutions to control corrosion, deposition and bacteria's.

Partner with the best

As our Lead Operations Specialist you will provide onshore and offshore production chemistry support to a specific client and all associated stakeholders. You will provide technical, commercial, contractual and product support in-house at our customer site in Stavanger for their offshore production facility.

As Lead Operations Specialist you will also be responsible for:

• Leading a team of 5 direct reports and several indirect toward successful service provision
• Managing pricing and product strategies to align with contractual demands
• Supporting day to day production chemistry for client asset, interfacing with the relevant client functions and departments including supply chain, product management, procurement, sales and commercial
• Supporting activities associated with tender preparation

Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Degree qualification in Chemistry or similar science
• Demonstrate a track record of working in production or oilfield chemicals in a demanding customer facing role
• Have proven leadership and influencing skills dealing with a high level of demand
• Have a good level of commercial and financial acumen
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and an ability to build trusting relationships with customers and teams
• Be a self-starter, proactively taking the initiative to solving problem in a challenging environm
• Have good oral and written communication skills in Norwegian and English
