Normeca International AS is seeking a diligent and reliable Cleaner to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for our medical facilities in the rural areas of Pakistan. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of our clinic and its surroundings, contributing to the overall well-being of our staff and patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, laundry and dishwashing.
- Assist the chef in food preparations.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, patient rooms, offices, and common areas.
- Dispose of trash and waste materials properly.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.
- Follow cleaning protocols and procedures to ensure a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist in setting up and cleaning after events or meetings as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests from staff and management.
- Assist in setting up and dismantling mobile medical units at various locations.
- Proven experience as a Cleaner or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical condition and stamina.
