Job Overview:
We are seeking a candidate with a background in Food science (or a related life science degree) to help join our exciting team for analysing food products. Their role would be determining how food products can be classified and categorised according to their ingredients and composition.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Food science (BSc) or a related life science degree.
· Food industry work experience
· Experience: 3+ years as a Food scientist, who has experience of research, analysis, testing of food and ingredients.
· Be able to understand food safety, hygiene and health.
Skills:
o Necessary skills for a food scientist include proficiency in mathematics and IT
o Knowledge of a range of sciences and their applications to food
o Excellent communication skills
o Strong teamworking skills
o Strong research and analysis abilities.

· Proactive and Organised: Able to manage multiple tasks while ensuring deadlines are met.
· Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in analysis and providing reports.
