Senior Project Lead Engineer

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects. The work model for the role is: hybrid {#LI-Hybrid} This role is contributing to the Process Automation - Process Industries in ABB Perú. Your main stakeholders will be external clients from the mining segment. You will be mainly accountable for: • 800x A Distributed Control System configuration. • Provide support through data analytics. • Participating in engineering projects, including hardware and software tests related to the 800x A System. • Utilizing checklists to perform design verification according to applicable standards and engineering guidelines.

Qualifications for the role

• You possess theoretical knowledge in process controls and automation, have knowledge of programming languages and have software configuration abilities.
• You also have experience working with MS Office software package and MS Project, and desirably experience in ABB's 800x A.
• You are collaborative, dynamic, adaptable, analytical and have a strong result orientation, as well as being a quick and effective learner.
• You have a degree in Electronic or Metallurgy engineering, or have proven knowledge in process controls.
• You can communicate with ease in Spanish, and are comfortable to a lesser degree holding conversations in English.
• You possess availability to travel.
