Your Role

This is your opportunity to join the cloud migration of Kuehne+Nagel in its early stage as a cloud computing & security expert! You are looking for a highly collaborative environment, where different security teams & stakeholders need to work together in the interest of a secure, compliant and reliable cloud-based macro architecture? From Porto, you can shape the security posture of our future infrastructure & application ecosystem, working closely with teams responsible for cloud-based platforms, application security & developer tooling. Your Responsibilities

• You bring colleagues from different security disciplines together in the cloud – you are joining us in an early cloud migration state and therefore have a lot of opportunity to influence, shape, and design
• You ensure that cloud-based infrastructure and services can be utilized with a “secure by default” mindset across the Kuehne+Nagel IT and business units
• You support product teams across the entire development lifecycle, with hands-on consulting, best practices, tools as well as guidelines – but without “reinventing the wheel” but rather by “connecting the dots” between existing policies, procedures, and tools
You take on the role of a technical leader in your area - for example, as a speaker on conferences or summits

Your Skills and Experiences

• Guide and consult the developers, engineers and non-technical stakeholders to bring the KN IT ecosystem securely into the cloud
• Champion secure design principles and cloud security best practices in the organization
• Continually evolve our security policies & guidelines and automate their verification and enforcement as much as possible
• You have ample experience with at least one major cloud provider – optimally AWS
• You have an attitude to design solutions which favor reuse over reinvention but are able to come up with your own ideas to tackle entirely new challenges
• You have been working on an enterprise-level for multiple years and are not easily overwhelmed by large IT landscapes
• You have experience with hybrid infrastructures, i.e. connecting the cloud and the on-premise world in a secure and reliable way
