YOUR ROLE

• Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server instances
• Create and manage database objects such as tables, indexes, and views
• Ensure data integrity, security, and availability in the databases
• Monitor database performance and optimize queries for maximum efficiency
• Perform regular backups and disaster recovery operations
• Monitor and audit database access and activities to ensure compliance with security standards
• Diagnose and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner
• Analyze query execution plans and optimize queries for better performance
• Conduct regular performance tuning activities to maintain optimal database performance
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps

YOUR PROFILE

• Professional experience of more than 5 years in managing databases in Microsoft SQL Server on OLTP and OLAP platforms, namely in:
• Installation and configuration of Microsoft SQL Server 2008 until 2022,
• High availability environments (failover cluster mode),
• Disaster Recovery environments (log shipping, Database Mirroring and Always On Availability Groups),
• Backup and restore of databases,
• Migration of databases,
• SSRS, SSAS and SSIS,
• With at least one of the following certifications:
• MCSA: SQL 2016 Database Administration,
• MCSE: Data Management and Analytics,
• MCSE: Data Platform;
• Good knowledge of the Windows operating system.
