• Function: Dev Ops Engineer
• Location: Portugal

• Type of contract: Direct Contractual link with the client
• Client: Leader company in Company Management software.

Tasks

We are looking for a skilled Dev Ops Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing cloud infrastructure (Azure AWS), container orchestration with Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) using Terraform, scripting with Power Shell, and managing web/application servers such as Nginx and Tomcat. You will be responsible for automating and maintaining infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and supporting cloud environments through Azure Dev Ops or Jenkins

Requirements

Technical Skills:

• Strong experience with Kubernetes (preferably in cloud environments).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) tools such as Terraform.
• Strong scripting skills, especially with Power Shell.
• Experience with Azure Dev Ops for CI/CD pipelines, including build, release, and automation workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Azure or AWS cloud services.
• Experience managing and configuring web servers like Nginx and application servers like Tomcat.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in a Dev Ops, Infrastructure, or System Engineer role.
• Strong knowledge of networking, security, and cloud architecture.
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently on multiple projects.

Nice-to-Have:

• Certifications in Azure, AWS, or Kubernetes.
• Experience with additional programming languages like Python or Bash.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
