At the end of the 1980s, we extended ours beyond the Middle East and acquired land in Portugal for the construction of a sterile factory for injectable pharmaceutical products. This was an important turning point for the company, and our first step into a new region. Today, in Portugal, we have more than 900 employees and 3 factories for the production of injectable medicines.

Hikma, intends to recruit an Officer, Supply Planning (m/f) to integrate Supply Chain Department, on-site work.

Main Responsibilities:

• Production Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on customer orders, forecasts, and inventory levels for a period of 2months- 12 months
• Materials Management: Manage & guarantee the availability of materials to successfully execute the production plan by coordinating with related departments such as QC, QA & purchasing.
• Reporting: Monitor plans changes and delays while reporting the impact to concerned departments and raising potential deviations to management for action
• Continuous Improvement: Proactively suggest and implement enhancements to production planning processes, materials flow, and inventory control systems
• Prepare periodic capacity reviews based on expected demand for discussion with management
• Run MRP meetings with procurements; define required safety stocks and ROP of materials in alignment with the procurement manager & SC Manager

Profile:

• Degree in Industrial Engineering or related areas
• Experience in planning and supply chain
• Experience with ERP Planning tools and Excel
• Excellent organization, communication, interpersonal, collaboration, and relationship skills
• Must have strong attention to detail, and the ability to accurately deliver in a fast-paced environment
• Pharma experience is a plus
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English
