About the role

Join Dashlane as a Senior Software Engineer for the Web Platform Team and take part in a mission to create a beautiful and scalable application with global impact. Being part of the platform team, you will be looking at shaping a better developer experience for the product teams that are building and maintaining our Dashlane web extension used by millions of clients around the world.

Location specific information

You will be based in Lisbon, with English as your working language. We offer a hybrid work arrangement, with Tuesday being the company day, where we all collaborate in the office and have a company-sponsored meal, a department day for team bonding (will be Thursday for your department), and a third day at your choice. We offer relocation support (national and international).

At Dashlane you will

• Deliver impactful improvements and new capabilities for the Web platform, focusing on our internal framework, build processes, tooling, and quality enhancements.
• Collaborate with passionate teams of engineers, product managers, customer support, and others in a friendly, multicultural environment.
• Support product experience teams by giving them all the appropriate tools they need to deliver without friction.
• Partner with teammates on Developer Experience initiatives.
• Value accountability and quality in all the work you do.
• Contribute to recruiting efforts, helping to grow the engineering team and boosting our visibility within Portugal's tech community.
• Actively participate in team ceremonies, retrospectives, and offsites, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software development.
• 5+ years of experience with Java Script or Type Script development.
• 3+ years of experience with frameworks such as React, Angular JS or Vue JS.
• Fluent in English.

We're Also Looking For

• Comfortable in documenting and leveraging RFCs and ADRs.
• Experience with a company at roughly Dashlane's size and scaling up (100-500 employees).
• Experience working in a distributed team across multiple timezones.
• You have a BS in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Management, or similar relevant field.
