Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the restaurant industry, demonstrating proficiency in cashiering duties and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. This role requires an energetic individual who excels in upselling and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:

Efficiently operate cash registers and POS systems to process transactions accurately and promptly.
Welcome customers with a warm and friendly demeanor, providing assistance and guidance as needed.
Effectively communicate menu items, promotions, and special offers to guests, actively engaging in upselling techniques to enhance the overall dining experience.
Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision and integrity, adhering to established cash handling procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier station, ensuring a tidy and welcoming environment for customers.
Collaborate with the restaurant team to address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Assist with additional tasks as needed to support restaurant operations and uphold quality standards.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a cashier in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a knack for building rapport with customers.
Proven ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
Detail-oriented and reliable, with a focus on accuracy in cash handling and transaction processing.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.
Must be proactive, outgoing, and enthusiastic about delivering exceptional service.
