Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Geotechnical Driller to join our Geotechnical Division in Qatar. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of direct experience working as a Geotechnical Driller, showcasing a deep understanding of local geotechnical procedures, soil investigation, and drilling operations.
Must Have: Qatar ID that can be transferred to our company sponsorship
Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct geotechnical drilling and sampling activities in various terrains and conditions.
• Operate and maintain drilling equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency during operations.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of drilling assignments.
• Collect, record, and label soil samples following industry standards and company protocols.
• Ensure adherence to all local health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Troubleshoot mechanical or operational issues with drilling equipment as needed.
• Provide on-site reports and communicate findings with project engineers and geotechnical staff.
• Drill boreholes
• Assist the senior mechanic if needed to fix drilling rigs
• Carry out general field tests (SPT, DCPT)
• Ability to take drilling measurements and dimensions
• Supervise the work of his helpers
• Troubleshoot drilling and mechanical problems within his capabilities
• Oversee the overall execution of his duties and his helpers in a safe manner

Requirements:

• Minimum Experience: 5 years as a geotechnical driller within Qatar.
• Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating drilling rigs and associated equipment.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus).
• Physical Requirements: Must be physically fit and able to work in outdoor conditions for extended periods.

• Knowledge of local Qatari geotechnical standards and practices.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: QAR3,500.00 - QAR4,000.00 per month
