Key Responsibilities:Design & Development:
Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
- Create innovative, trendy, and modest designs for women’s apparel, including abayas, dresses, and casual wear.
- Oversee the full design process, from concept sketches to production-ready designs.
- Source appropriate fabrics and materials suitable for modest fashion needs and regional trends.
- Stay ahead of seasonal trends while ensuring all designs reflect the brand’s aesthetic and modest values.
- Collaborate with manufacturers to ensure high-quality production standards are met.
- Manage timelines for design, sampling, and production processes to meet delivery deadlines.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure every garment meets brand expectations.
- Work closely with marketing and business development teams to align product offerings with the brand vision.
- Contribute to campaign planning, photoshoots, and product launches.
- Provide creative input on look books, social media content, and promotional strategies to build the Buttoned brand.
- Degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
- Experience in designing modest wear is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of fabric types, garment construction, and production processes.
- Strong Knowledge of creating Tech Packs.
- Excellent in size charts.
- Excellent in Sketch Drawings.
- Passion for fashion and a deep understanding of modest fashion trends.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Proficient in fashion design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CLO 3D).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
