Job Summary:
Sama Medical Care is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Insurance Coordinator to join our team. This role requires a professional with experience in handling medical insurance claims, coordination with insurance providers, and assisting patients with insurance-related inquiries. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless communication between our facility and insurance companies while maximizing reimbursement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:

• Process and verify insurance claims for outpatient services, including Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dental, Dermatology, Internal Medicine, and Pharmacy.
• Liaise with insurance providers to ensure timely approval and settlement of claims.
• Handle pre-authorizations, claim submission, rejections, and resubmissions as necessary.
• Communicate with patients regarding insurance coverage, benefits, and claims processing.
• Maintain accurate records of all insurance-related transactions and documentation.
• Stay updated on insurance policies, procedures, and changes in guidelines to ensure compliance.
• Address and resolve any issues related to insurance claims or discrepancies.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an Insurance Coordinator in a healthcare setting in Qatar.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with Qatar’s health insurance regulations and experience with claim submission and follow-up processes.
• Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Language: Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
