Position: QA/QC Mechanical Engineer - Steel Structural Fabrication Location: Qatar
Role and Responsibilities:

• Oversee the quality assurance and quality control processes throughout the steel structural fabrication projects.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and tests to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and production teams to identify and address any quality-related issues.
• Develop and implement QA/QC procedures, protocols, and documentation.
• Participate in project planning and provide input on quality-related matters.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and compliance reports.
• Provide guidance and training to ensure that all team members adhere to quality guidelines.
• Monitor and evaluate subcontractors' performance in relation to quality control.
• Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. CSWIP 3.1 - Welding Inspector
• Proven experience (5+ years) in QA/QC within the steel structural fabrication sector Oil & Gas and Construction .
• Strong knowledge of international quality standards and codes related to steel fabrication.
• Familiarity with relevant inspection and testing techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering top-notch results.
• Proficiency in relevant software tools and applications.
• Eligibility to work in Qatar.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: QAR3,500.00 - QAR4,500.00 per month
