- Identify and establish relationships with local and international flower growers, wholesalers, and suppliers.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms for procurement.
- Monitor market trends and seasonal availability to anticipate demand and maintain adequate inventory levels.
- Oversee inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and storing flowers, foliage, vases, and other floral supplies.
- Implement efficient inventory management practices to minimize waste and maximize freshness.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and availability of stock.
- Coordinate logistics for timely delivery of orders to customers, including florists, event venues, and retail outlets.
- Ensure orders are accurately picked, packed, and shipped according to customer specifications.
- Manage transportation arrangements and logistics partners to optimize delivery routes and minimize costs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional service and personalized attention.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries, orders, and complaints to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues effectively.
- Provide product knowledge and advice on floral options, availability, and seasonal trends.
- Inspect incoming shipments for quality and freshness, ensuring adherence to company standards and customer expectations.
- Proven experience as a florist, with a portfolio demonstrating creativity and expertise in various floral designs.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of floral design techniques, flower care, auction negotiation, flower selection, marketing, sales and seasonal availability.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Certification in florist or a related field is preferred.
- Qatar Driving License is Must.
