Service Technician – Generator - Electrical
Assist senior service technicians in equipment installation, maintenance and repairs
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks
Troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment malfunctions
Experience
Prior experience working with diesel generator power plants
Minimum 3 years of experience relevant role or related field
Dealer experience (Cummins and Caterpillar)
Previous Experience with Cummins/Iveco/Scania Diesel Generator engines
Proficiency with generator controllers including PCC 2100, PCC 3100, PCC 3200, PCC 3300 and DSE 8000 series, with training certificates from courses attended in programming
Capability to assess power demand according to production needs
Familiarity with the generator load testing process
Education
College Degree in Electrical field or Industrial Training Institute qualifications
Must hold an official Electrical trade qualification from a recognized organization
