Primary purpose of job
To provide advice, opinion and services in handling litigations cases including representing Qatar Energy, Qatar Energy
subsidiaries, Qatar Energy affiliates and the State of Qatar
government bodies before courts and disputes resolution tribunals and leads
Counsels in providing legal opinion required in running the business and also to
provide support services as specified in LCL Division Internal Policy or
assigned by the General Counsel, in accordance with Qatar Energy's Policies and
applicable laws and regulations to the best interest of Qatar Energy.
Experience & Skills
- Eligible to practice law in Qatar or any similar jurisdiction.

• Native Arabic speaker with very good command of English.

• Excellent legal drafting and writing skills.

• At least 10 years of general legal practice.

• Familiar with Qatari laws or any similar jurisdiction.

• Prior knowledge of boards and general assemblies secretariat activities.

• Must be proficient in using Microsoft Word.

• Experience in the Oil and Gas industry being highly advantageous.

Education
Bachelors of Law (LLB) or equivalent from recognized Arabic
University, preferably master degree of law.
