Job Description

In its role as a business partner, the finance function ensures the company keeps continuous focus on compliance, control and risk management to manage the company’s risks such as financial, processes, compliance, business, etc., and meet the requirements of governmental and other regulatory bodies, as well as the internal regulation frameworks.
This role reports directly to Accounting Manager.

Is responsible for GL accounting, performs bookings and supports Accounting Manager in analyses and reporting as per company business model
Is responsible for main aspects of accounting (accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, bank reconciliation, credit card expense report reconciliation, cash applications, collections, and payroll)
Ensures SAP bookings quality and works together with business stakeholders to maintain accurate records
Prepares financial reports and accounting statements, both corporate and statutory, according to IFRS and RAS
Responsible for all matters related to the local Tax Authorities: CIT and VAT computation and preparation of statements to be submitted to ANAF
Supports internal and financial audits with professional expertise
Works and builds good relationships with the local stakeholders, shared service, outsourcing providers, auditors, tax consultants and external authorities, where relevant;

Prepares ad-hoc reports and financial analyses and contributes to continuous process improvement in the accounting area.

For this role we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

University degree in Accounting or Finance related field
Very good knowledge of accounting standards and local regulations (CECCAR qualification is a plus)
Minim 3 years of working experience in Accounting
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS office tools
Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively within a team, with strict deadlines
Fluency in Romanian and Business English, both verbal and writing
Experience in working with SAP is a plus
IFRS and financial reporting knowledge is a plus
