Azure Infrastructure Specialist

Key Responsibilities
-
Continuous Delivery: Implement a Continuous Delivery approach for all infrastructure within Azure, utilizing:
- Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) for efficient resource provisioning.
- A configuration management platform to automate deployments.
- Monitoring tools for Azure virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking components.
- Backup solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.

Security and Compliance:
- Implement robust security measures and manage access controls within the Azure environment.
- Stay updated with the latest Azure roles and responsibilities, recommending their implementation to enhance operational efficiency.
- Adhere to security best practices and compliance standards across all Azure services.
- Strong understanding of Dev Ops principles and experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) methodologies.
- Extensive knowledge of cloud computing concepts and experience working with cloud-based services.
- Expertise in the Azure platform, including in-depth knowledge of Azure services such as virtual machines, virtual networks, storage solutions, and Entra ID (AAD).
- Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Power Shell and Python, for automating tasks and deploying Azure solutions.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (Ia C) tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, and Bicep for efficient resource management.
- Ability to design and architect Azure Iaa S solutions tailored to business requirements, optimizing for resource utilization, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Knowledge of Azure networking components, including virtual networks, subnets, and security groups, with experience implementing network security groups (NSGs), firewalls, and VPN gateways.
- Commitment to staying current with Azure services, features, and industry best practices.
