Head of Controlling, RFQ & Change Management Calculation Romania (m/f/d) Romania - ROM00000N

Your challenge:

• Steer yearly planning creation process for country, based on standards and tools coming from group Controlling
• Set up all required financial tools, processes and procedures inside the country, based on governance of group Controlling
• Ensure timely submission, accuracy, consistency and integrity of financial reporting
• Plan and hold regular meetings to discuss key figures and variances with Country Manager and respective organizational unit
• Check and control planning adherence of country units
• Coordinate and execute regular reporting of standard KPIs for country including the distribution to relevant stakeholders
• Coach local management team in Finance for Non-Finance in order to establish a healthy monitoring of targets for production
• Prepare the actual financial performance presentation of the country
• Coordinate and consolidate data input of relevant organizational units for ad-hoc reporting, required by country and group Controlling
• Ensure the availability of all relevant costing information and align the information with Country Accounting for the monthly fin. statements
• Support upon request with any financial information central functions areas, country and group Accounting & Tax
• Ensure cash controlling by validating all investment, lease or buy decisions of the country, highlighting critical inventory levels; prepare, explain and support the presentation of the monthly Cash Flow results and deviations versus forecast/planning
• Coordinate running project controlling activities, side-along with Operations for explaining the performance of all projects and finding measures of improvement
• Experience in subsidies projects (preparing documentation, implementation and monitoring)
• Aligning all finance departments in order to deliver in time and accurate reporting in line with group procedures and local legal requirements
• Acting as country risk coordinator with responsibility of reporting, monitoring and assessments of risks/opportunities
• Steer, lead, and control all RFQ costing, Index change and forensics on Manufacturing costing for country effectively
• Calculate the manufacturing costs for the invited plants under its area of management and steer improvements where they are necessary in order to achieve best achievable scenario in line with the country management guidance
• Gather all information related to product design and production concept and mediate the full understanding of the details by the relevant organization units in order to obtain the costing elements
• Challenge and perform plausibility checks and prepare the costing, based on the information provided by the relevant organizational units for all RFQs and running projects for the country and production facilities
• Update the costing and Business Plan information for all running projects according to central requirements

Your qualification:

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related fields
• Minimum 10 years of proven experience in Controlling area
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience leading and developing high-performing teams, setting goals, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Ability to handle high levels of pressure and critical decision-making
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
• Ability to think strategically and execute tactically
• Fluent in English;
• Excellent Excel skills, SAP is an asset;
