Investment Back Officer

- Department documents management/ archiving
- Generate and reconcile bank statements for managed portfolios
- Obtain approval/ signatures for deposits with banks, settlement instructions, follow-up by phone/ e-mail on account balances
- Obtain signatures for trades
- Input/ Process payment orders / money transfers in and outside Romania
- Follow up and maintain approved signatures lists with counterparties/ custodians
- Liaising with banks for accounts administration
- Provide support for Portfolio Accountants II for NAV calculation for pension funds/ administrators portfolios for:
- Daily valuation of voluntary and mandatory pension funds
- Daily valuation of Administrators' Portfolios
- Reporting on investments – FSA and internal requirements
- Record, reconcile and approve trades and transactions in the dedicated investment software
- Reconciliations with financial accounting and operations departments
- Other accountabilities and specific tasks assigned by the manager as justified by business needs
- University degree, preferably finance/ accounting (including freshly graduate)
- Theoretical knowledge of financial instruments and investment funds’ working principles
- Experienced in working with excel
- Good level of English

The monthly salary range for the Investment Back Officer role is between 6.700 - 11.600 lei gross. The salary range showcased is only indicative. The final benefits package will be agreed upon during final negotiations with each candidate, by considering different criteria, such as the experience and skills level. Therefore, the finally agreed salary will stay confidential, as per the applicable law and we reserve the right to apply adjustments to the offer at any time during the hiring process.
