Role Description:

We are seeking a Software Engineer with experience in Type Script, Node.js to join our team responsible for building integrated solutions for Microsoft Office users.

Our Microsoft Office add-in gives Refinitiv Workspace users an unmatched financial data and intuitive UIs to make thoughtful decisions in daily business.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code based on requirements
Develop software using well-adapted software development principles and lead and coach the team on the same
Build unit tests and integration tests to ensure software meets requirements
Reuse existing systems that drive sophisticated applications
Ensures responsiveness for applications and services
Identify and resolve performance and stability issues
Handle individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
Collaborate with Product Managers, UX team, and Software Engineers to deliver an outstanding product
Work closely with the Quality Engineering team to ensure the high quality of the deliverables
Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages

Required Skills:

2+ years experience in Type Script and Node.js
Proven technical background with understanding of programming styles, frameworks, design patterns and unit testing
Strong experience in CI/CD, unit testing frameworks, automation (testing/deployment)
Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills
Attention to details

Desired Skills:

Experience with Angular
Experienced with Agile methodologies, Scrum
Experience in Office.js
Familiar with RESTful interfaces
