WHAT A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE
- Rust Embedded Software Engineer - Senior Level
- As a member of our software development team, you will develop safe, innovative and high-performance software products as part of Autonomous Drive applications leveraging high-performance processor cores and specialized accelerators at the heart of our company's leading-class embedded. microprocessors used by many car manufacturer companies in the world.
- You will closely work with a highly experienced, international, cross-functional team of engineers.
- Part of the Automotive Software Team, we are striving for Total Quality for end-to-end safe and secure products for our customers.
- We are driven by our company core values: raising the bar, engaging curiosity, taking initiative, working together, and developing deep core competence.
- Embedded software development for applications and algorithm libraries.
- Designing, developing, coding, testing and debugging system software.
- Developing Rust-specific concepts, ecosystems, prototype software tools and applications.
- Working on Rust-C code interoperability, RISC-V and ARM support.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS NEEDED
- University degree in a technical field such as: Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- Experienced in programming with modern C / C++.
- Experience developing software-embedded systems with cross-compilation.
- Debugging skills for embedded targets and low-level software.
- Skilled in oral and written communication in English.
- Attentive to details, self-motivated and able to be a team player while working independently.
- Rust programming language experience.
- Low-level drivers or real-time operating systems development experience.
- ARM architecture knowledge, assembly.
- Experience with source control (git), and issues tracking (JIRA).
- Open source contributions.
